Tooth fairies Partner in Crime.

Today I was sitting on my porch reading my new poetry book and writing, when all of a sudden I heard a sound. It wasn’t a bird, and it was no normal car, it sounded like a music box on wheels. All of a sudden who else roles around the corner… None other then the ICE CREAM MAN! The funny thing is that as soon as the sound reaches my street other sounds arise. People start to yell out of their windows “HEY!” or “WAIT!” What follows next is the sounds of house doors and screen doors opening. It’s like Moths to flames, or flies to sticky fly traps, or other bugs to those weird zappy things on people’s porches. What I’m trying to say is a lot of people on my street like the Ice cream man. I was just sitting there laughing to myself while watching the exchanges take place. One of the kids that went to the truck I watch as he returns with his hands full of all sorts of ice cream treats; ice cream sandwiches, popsicles, those patriotic red, white and blue pops, and even your traditional cones. After watching this I thought the tooth fairy must get a lot of teeth because of this ice cream man. I wondering if that is a coincidence? ...

A Beautiful day in the neighborhood.

This Friday was Gorgeous!! The temp was in the low 80’s, ultra blue sky, nice breeze and birds singing. Me and my friend Josh decided to take advantage of this day. We hoped on our bikes and road 40 some blocks to go to art galleries and used book stores all day. IT was soo good. So inspiring. Made me say, “MAN, I love this city!” I bought a book of poetry by Langston Hughes. Probably the first book I’ve purchased in years. Nothing crazy happened just a really good day. So I thought I would share the sweetness of that day. (my first of many normal blogs to come.)

Ok Ok, Fine i'll blog, Gosh!

Hello,

So i desided to start blogging again even if they aren't crazy stories like almost burning down my house, or getting jumped by 4 guys, or getting my lip split open, or even almost getting casted for the new Die Hard. I will blog even the normalness of my life. I hope that is ok with everyone (who ever still reads this).

yours truely,

Chris Schwartz
